Matilda, the Musical: Inspired by the twisted genius of Roald Dahl, the Tony Award-winning Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical is the captivating masterpiece that revels in the anarchy of childhood, the power of imagination and the inspiring story of a girl who dreams of a better life. With book by Dennis Kelly and original songs by Tim Minchin, Matilda has won 47 international awards and continues to thrill sold-out audiences of all ages around the world. Packed with high-energy dance numbers, catchy songs and an uplifting message, Matilda's story proves that despite the odds, you can do anything you put your mind to — and change your destiny. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by this story of the special little girl with an extraordinary imagination.
Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella is the new Broadway adaptation of the classic musical. This contemporary take on the classic tale features R+H’s most beloved songs alongside an up-to-date, hilarious and romantic libretto by Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane. Beane's 2013 adaptation of this well-loved classic invites us to build a better, kinder world together. Be transported back to your childhood as you rediscover some of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” in this hilarious and romantic Broadway experience for anyone who’s ever had a wish, a dream… or a really great pair of shoes. This timeless musical treasure will inspire and delight the whole family.
The Crucible by Arthur Miller is the classic play delving into the Salem witch trials of 1692. Set in the Puritan town of Salem, MA, Miller’s play unfolds as a chilling allegory for the Red Scare of the 1950s. The plot centers on the hysteria that erupts when a group of girls accuse fellow villagers of witchcraft. As the trials progress, the town is consumed by fear, paranoia, and a distorted sense of justice. Miller’s narrative serves as a powerful commentary on the dangers of mass hysteria and the consequences of blind conformity. The play remains relevant today as a cautionary tale about the fragility of justice and the ease with which fear can be manipulated for political or personal gain. Come see our talented cast tell this important story. PG-13
